Universal All Stars

• The Universal All Stars Gym opened its doors in May of 2006. It is a gymnastics and cheerleader gym that teaches children 4 to 19 years of age. Universal All Stars is located nine miles from Hialeah. The gym offers group cheerleading camps that will get your child's team ready for cheerleading during the school year. The camp will teach cheers, chants, dances, stunts, jumps, pyramids, tumbling and team building. They also offer ongoing individual classes in tumbling, cheerleading and gymnastics.

Creative Camp

• Creative camp is sponsored every year by the Miami Children's Theater. It is located 13 miles south of Hialeah. The theater was founded in 1996 and offers professional productions and a training camp for children between the ages of 3 and 19. Summer camps are offered weekly from June to August. The camp helps each child develop imagination, technique, character and also teaches kids how to control their voice and body language. At the end of each camp, your child and his camp mates will put on a production for the parents to help highlight what they have learned throughout the week.

Fun Camps

• Fun Camp in Coral Gables is located nine miles from Hialeah. It offers several different types of camp themes to interest nearly every child. The camp themes include magic camp, Jurassic camp, space and rocket camp, science camp and jungle camp. Fun camps help to develop children's talents and teaches them to interact with other children. The camps are designed for children ages 5 to 12. Camps usually last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for one week. Fun activities, such as swimming, are planned daily and meals are included.
