Montverde Academy Summer Day Camp

• Montverde Academy Summer Day Camp caters to boys and girls ages 5-12. The camp takes place on the campus of Montverde Academy, an elite boarding school on the shores of Lake Florence. Campers engage in such activities as swimming, fishing, baseball, dodge ball and kickball, as well as arts and crafts. A daily lunch and snack are included in the camp’s fees.

Warren Acting Company

• The Warren Acting Company in Eustis plays host to a theater summer camp held in two sessions. Participants mount a stage show, typically a musical, at the conclusion of each camp. In the mornings, campers spend their time rehearsing the show. After lunch, the participants focus on different theater classes, such as acting, dancing, singing and auditioning workshops. Many of the classes are led by some of the region’s top theatrical talent. The camp runs Mondays through Fridays.

Camp Boggy Creek

• Camp Boggy Creek caters exclusively to children with serious medical conditions, including cancer, diabetes and heart problems. The camp’s goal is to give these children the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled experience, free of daily worries. Campers can engage in a host of activities, including fishing, swimming, boating, singing, dancing, and arts and crafts. The camp operates during the spring, summer and fall months. Participants may choose from week-long kids-only camps or family weekend retreat camps. Operating out of Eustis, the camp sits upon 232 acres of land.
