Current Glacier Count in Glacier National Park

As of today, Glacier National Park contains 25 active glaciers, remnants of the vast ice sheets from the last ice age. The largest, Grinnell Glacier, spans about 6 miles in length and covers roughly 1,500 acres on the park's east side.
