    • The Athabasca Sand Dunes in northwestern Saskatchewan provide a challenging camping experience. The dunes, which lie on the shores of Lake Athabasca, constantly shift due to wind. Campers must be completely self-sufficient since there are no facilities, roads, services or residential communities in the area. The dunes can only be reached by float plane.
