The Kenosee Superslides, located in Kenosee Lake, Saskatchewan, is a privately-owned waterslide park open annually from mid-June to late August. Since 1986, it has offered a variety of waterslides, including the eight-story Free Fall, the Double Banzai, two tubes slides (including one with a six-foot drop), the 800-foot Lazy Canal (a slower-paced inner-tube ride), a hot tub with a 150-person capacity, and three slides and pools for younger children. Additional on-site amenities include: changing rooms, showers, lockers and the Cruisers Family Diner, which serves fast-food staples, such as hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cream sundaes. As of 2010, the waterslide park is open seven-days-a-week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (weather permitting). Admission prices vary by age and the number of people. Special discounts are provided for groups of 20 or more and for entrance during the final two hours of operation (4 p.m. to 6 p.m.).
The Gallagher Centre Water Park, located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, is a multi-purpose facility that includes a sports field house, the Farrell Agencies Sports Arena, a convention center, and a water park, which is open to the public. The water park offers a two-story waterslide, a wave pool (with zero-depth entry), a 25-meter (82-foot) swimming pool and lap pool, a lazy river (for inner-tube rides), and a whirlpool. Other on-site amenities include a private party room for special events, modern changing rooms with lockers, a sauna, and steam room. Lunch options are available only for large groups (including school groups) and are provided by Town and Country Catering. The property is open all year and also offers a variety of instructional programs that range from lifesaving certification to swimming instruction for all ages.
The Kinsmen Water Park, one of the major aquatic facilities in northern Saskatchewan, is located in the city of Prince Albert. Since 1986, the park has operated two 300-foot water slides, a swimming pool (with depths ranging from 1.5 to 5 feet), a junior slide and a tot-pool. In addition to the water activities, the park includes play equipment for younger children and a concession stand that offers snacks and beverages. During the summers, it also provides a full range of swimming lessons for children certified by the Red Cross as well as aquatic-fitness classes. As of November 2010, the park is open daily at 1 p.m. and is subject to weather conditions. During the summer months, it provides early morning lane swims from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the weekends. Specials group events and after-hours rentals are also available for private parties. All children under the age of eight are required to be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times.
