New Jersey Shore Boardwalk Shops

The New Jersey Shore is located on the Atlantic coast and the surrounding resort and residential community. The Jersey Shore covers about 131 miles of the coastline and includes the eastern parts of Monmouth, Atlantic, Cape May and Ocean counties. There are seven different boardwalks located in the New Jersey Shore area. Most of the boardwalks on the Jersey Shore revolve around various souvenir shops, eateries and games.
  1. Keansburg

    • The boardwalk in Keansburg has several shops and attractions to enjoy. The Keansburg fishing pier shop sells bait, tackle and ice for fishing and does fishing equipment rentals. The Heidelberg bar and restaurant is located here and is popular for grilled hot dogs. Food, games and rides are the main attractions on this boardwalk.

    Asbury Park

    • Like other boardwalks in this area, the main attractions in Asbury Park are food and games. Some shops located on the boardwalk include the Tides Café, Brielle Cycles, the Mayfair and several different pizzerias. The Tides Café serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Brielle Cycles does bicycle rentals and repairs. (A bicycle is a great way to explore the boardwalk.) The Asbury Amusement Factory offers arcade-style games of all kinds. The Mayfair serves popular boardwalk food, such as hot dogs and burgers.

    Point Pleasant Beach

    • The Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk was the first boardwalk to offer food, games and entertainment on the Jersey Shore. The boardwalk features Jenkinson's Amusements, which offers many rides, games and carnival food. There is also a miniature-golf course located here. Nightlife options like Martell's Tiki Bar and Jenkinson's Nightclub are interspersed among many gift and souvenir shops on the boardwalk.

    Seaside Heights

    • The Seaside Heights boardwalk features the Casino Pier and Funtown Pier. There is a water park located on Casino Pier, as well as over 40 other rides and shops. Various other activities are available on the pier, such as go-karts and the Tower of Fear ride. There are many bars on the boardwalk, such as the Bamboo Bar, Club XS and MERGE. Many restaurants are also located here, such as Captain Hooks and Klees Bar and Grill.

    Atlantic City

    • The Atlantic City boardwalk is home to the Bally's Wild Wild West Casino, a themed gaming venue. It offers over 5,400 gaming machines and various table and poker games. There are also 20 restaurants inside the casino. Bally's is also a hotel with nearly 1,800 rooms. The Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum is located on the boardwalk, as are many different restaurants and various souvenir shops that sell everything from T-shirts to jewelry.

    Ocean City

    • The Ocean City boardwalk offers many different tourist shops and restaurants. You can find ice cream shops, dolls, clothing and even jewelry on this boardwalk. There is also an amusement park and Gillian's Island Water Park, which offers many different water attractions. There is miniature golf, ghost tours and the Crab Trap Restaurant to enjoy. Ocean City focuses on family fun, therefore alcoholic beverages are not available on the boardwalk.

    Wildwood

    • The Wildwood boardwalk is a 2-mile-long boardwalk on the Jersey Shore. The boardwalk offers five different amusement piers and many carnival type games and attractions. There are many different food stands and restaurants, souvenir shops, and water parks.
