Crystal Beach is located off the boardwalk at New Hampshire Avenue, near the Atlantic City Historical Museum. It is situated in a remote area and offers larger breaking waves, making it the area's leading surf beach. The beach is a popular spot for boogie boarders, and surf lessons are available. Crystal Beach is oriented towards surfers and is less family-friendly than beaches closer to the main boardwalk. There are no lifeguards, restrooms or showers, and ball playing and pets are prohibited. This beach has handicapped-access ramps.

The Chelsea Avenue Beach is off the boardwalk, in front of Chelsea Atlantic City Hotel. It is a popular, family-friendly public beach, and parking is available with the Chelsea Hotel valet. The beach features a lifeguard station, as well as public restrooms and shower facilities. There are several volleyball poles, and nets are available for checkout at Chelsea Hotel. The hotel's popular Cabana Club bar features live DJ music, lush landscaping and an island bar and lounge area for beachgoers who want to enjoy a cocktail.

The Park Place Beach is accessed near the center of the boardwalk, in front of Bally's Casino and next to the Piers at Caesars. The beach features lifeguards, public restrooms and shower areas, as well as beach chairs, umbrellas and cabanas for rental. The Bally Casino operates the Bikini Beach Bar, featuring DJs, live music and a crowded daily happy hour.
