Indoor Water Parks near Quebec City

Quebec City is the capital of Quebec, the largest province in Canada. The summer season in Quebec is short, lasting from June through August, when the province's two outdoor water parks are teeming with swimmers. During the winter months, there are water parks near Quebec City for those who love to swim and play.
  1. Aquadôme

    • Located in Ville de la Salle outside of Montreal and south of Quebec City, the indoor water complex Aquadôme is fun for all ages. The seven lane adult lap pool allows serious swimmers to exercise without interruption from other swimmers, while children can enjoy the water play area. There are small and tall slides, waterfall and hot tub. The family aquatic center also offers lessons. The website is in French as is the extensive list of hours of operation, but the complex is open most days by 9 a.m. There are special times set aside for adult swims. Fees are $3.50 Canadian for non-residents and $2.50 Canadian for seniors.

    Aquaclub La Source at Mont Tremblant

    • The popular Mont Tremblant ski resort, southwest of Quebec City, offers downhill skiing as well as an indoor water facility for adults and children. The main pool features jumping rocks and a rope swing. A hanging bridge, small waterfall and waterslide are also in the main pool area. Smaller children can play in the wading pool. The facility also has hot tubs and a steam bath The pool is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., but closes at 7 p.m. on some days. Entry is from $7 to $16 Canadian, depending on age.

    Super8LaChenaie

    • Located in the amalgamated town of Lachenaie/Terrebonne south of Quebec City and just north of Montreal, the Super8 Lachenaie Hotel is part of the Wyndham Hotel chain. The hotel offers guests a small indoor water facility complete with a waterslide. You also can splash under the water umbrella and relax in the heated spa. The heated pool and fun area are open all year.
