The hotel with its on-site water park is across the street from the Truman Sports Complex. Visitors can catch a professional football or baseball game while staying at the inn. There is a fitness facility, business center and room service, and pets are allowed. For those that do not want to visit the water park there are two pools, one of which is indoors and heated.

At CoCo Key there are several choices of activities. The Parrot's Perch is an area for younger children, with water slides, water cannons and a bucket that dumps gallons of water. The Dip-in Theater is another attraction for smaller children. It is a wading pool and on occasion displays movies and shows on a big-screen television.
Coconut Grove Adventure River is a fast-riding tube attraction through the indoor water island. Other fast-paced rides are the Shark Slam, Gator Gush, Barracuda Blast and Pelican Plunge, which are body and raft water slides.
For the guest who wants to relax and take in the scenery, the Palm Grotto indoor/outdoor spa, the outdoor splash pad and Coral Reef cavern are good choices. There are indoor activity pools and whirlpools that feature lily pads for relaxing.
For entertainment outside the water park, guests can visit the Key Quest Arcade.
Guests have a variety of dining choices at the water park or can choose to eat at the hotel. The Tradewinds Restaurant and Lounge is available for dining and drinks. The CoCo Key market and the Wet Rooster bar serve snacks, desserts and drinks.
