      Check into your lodging. Be sure to keep the telephone number of your lodging with you as you travel in case you need to call for directions or if you're running late. When you check in to your lodging, you'll usually need to provide your passport, home address and credit card information if you haven't prepaid. Be sure to ask what payment is accepted. Some youth hostels and bed and breakfasts only accept cash.

      Check out of your lodging. Be sure to note the check-out time for your lodging. Checking out on time will help you to avoid unnecessary fees. Remember to pick up any luggage or valuables you have left in luggage rooms or at the desk.
