Make your way to Pittsburgh, the closest city to the Green Man's Tunnel. Start your drive from Pittsburgh by making your way south over the Liberty Bridge. Continue through the Liberty Tunnel, and stay on this road until turning south onto Saw Mill Run Blvd., always called PA-51.
Keep south on Saw Mill Run Blvd. Follow the winding road southbound until you merge into Clairton Blvd. Keep driving south. Continue on the road as it curves east. Turn south onto Old Clairton Road. Drive until you come up to Gillhall Road. Make your way west onto the road and keep driving.
Follow Gillhall Road as it weaves southwest. Drive through the looped turn in the forest and turn off of Gillhall Road onto Peters Creek Road. Cross over Snowden Road. Follow the narrow road through the forested area and look for a stop sign. Take a right to arrive.
Look for parking outside of the tunnel if you want a closer inspection. Be careful as the roads are thin and there is little room. Be mindful of oncoming traffic if you are stopping or looking around. The exact location of the tunnel is Piney Fork Road in the South Park Township.
