Held on the second Friday of every month, the Over 50's Meet and Greet gives residents of Harrison Ranch over 50 years of age a chance to connect and get to know one another. The event is held at the Amenity Center at the heart of the community. Guests are asked to bring a dish to share and any alcohol they may want to drink. Non-alcoholic beverages and some snacks are served by community staffers.
Known as "The HR Farm Stand," this event gives residents of Harrison a chance to enjoy locally-grown fruits and vegetables from May to November. The event is sponsored by a local farm called Gamble Creek Farm, and takes place in the parking lot of the Amenity Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday. In addition to fruits and vegetables, crafts and baked goods are also sold.
Aqua Fit classes are held at the community swimming pool every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The classes are designed around residents of all ages and are popular with seniors based on the fact that they are low impact. The exercises practiced during the class are developed to have no impact on the joints. The swimming pool at Harrison Ranch is heated to allow for this activity to occur throughout the entire year. The first class is free and a fee of $5 applies if you choose to continue.
Coffee and Tea Time is held at the Amenity Center ever Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This activity gives anyone in the community a chance to meet and spend time together. Beverages and snacks are provided and games and other activities are often planned for the weekly event. Children are welcome and activities for them are also planned.
