Built in 1927, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' temple in Mesa, Arizona is the church's seventh oldest operating temple. The 113,916-square-foot temple is situated east of Mesa's original town site, which was settled by Mormon pioneers, and, as of 2011, is one of five LDS temples located in Arizona. Several resorts are located within driving distance of the Mesa temple.
Located five miles southwest of the Mesa LDS Temple, the Best Western Dobson Ranch Inn and Resort is situated on 10 acres and offers 200 rooms and 13 suites.
