Five KOA campgrounds are located throughout the state of Nevada. Campgrounds are located in Verdi, which is near Reno, as well as Wendover, Ely, Las Vegas and Laughlin. All five of Nevada's KOA campgrounds are open throughout the year.
Camping is available at all of Nevada's KOA campgrounds. The Reno/Boomtown, Ely and Las Vegas/Circus Circus KOAs provide tent camping and cabin rentals.
Dependent on each individual campground, amenities that may be available include swimming pools, hot tubs, miniature golf, snack bars, planned activities, firewood, cable TV, wireless Internet connections, and guided tour services.
Nevada's five KOA campgrounds offer a variety of activities to keep guests entertained. These activities may include casino games, climbing walls, children's rides, scuba diving, tennis, fishing, hiking, cave exploring, biking, bowling, golfing and swimming.
As of 2010, nightly rates for staying at one of Nevada's KOA campgrounds range from about $20 to $60. Reservations can be made online or by calling 800-562-8552. Some of Nevada's KOA campgrounds are pet friendly.
