The Las Vegas Monorail runs from the MGM Grand at the southern end of the Strip, to the Sahara Hotel and Casino at the northern end. The monorail offers single-ride tickets and one-day or three-day passes, so it's an easy and economical option (as well as a comfortable one, when the weather is hot and the streets are congested). The monorail's seven stations serve virtually all of the major hotels and casinos.
The monorail's southernmost station is the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Riders enter by walking through the MGM's Studio Walk or the Star Lane Shops. This station is also close to the Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, the Tropicana, Hooters Casino Hotel, the Monte Carlo, New York-New York, and the Hard Rock Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.

The next stop heading north is Bally's/Paris Las Vegas. The station is inside Bally's, which is connected to Paris Las Vegas, so there's easy access to both hotels.
To access the station, walk toward Bally's pool area, which is behind the Avenue Shops. This station also offers easy access to the Bellagio, and the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

You'll find this station inside the Flamingo Las Vegas, past the lobby and toward the parking garage. You can reach Caesars Palace by crossing to the west side of Las Vegas Boulevard. This station also provides access to Bill's Gamblin' Hall, and off-Strip properties like the Westin Casuarina, the Hilton Grand Vacations-Flamingo, and Holiday Inn Las Vegas Hotel.

This station is located between Harrah's Las Vegas and the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino. You can reach it by walking through either hotel toward the back of the property. The Mirage Las Vegas, Treasure Island, the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, Casino Royale Hotel, Wynn Las Vegas, and Encore are all within walking distance. Nearby off-Strip properties include the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, and Trump International Hotel and Tower.

The Las Vegas Convention Center station is off the Strip, in the Convention Center's parking lot at the juncture of Desert Inn Road and Paradise Road. Hotels within walking distance include the Marriott-Residence Inn, Greek Isles Hotel and Casino, Renaissance Las Vegas, Las Vegas Marriot, and Embassy Suites. The Las Vegas Visitor information Center is also nearby.

The Sahara Station is the monorail's northernmost stop. You can access it from a passageway behind the Casbah Theater Lounge, or on Paradise Road behind the Sahara. Nearby Strip-front properties include Circus Circus Hotel, Casino and Theme Park; Hilton Grand Vacations; and the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower. A bus stop near the Sahara Station connects to the Freemont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas, which has a pedestrian mall with nightly music and light shows.
