Learning computer programming at a computer camp can be a great supplement to any computer education she is receiving in elementary, middle or high school. There are a few types of computer camps to choose from in New Jersey.
iD Tech Camps is a large national chain located at many universities across the United States and Canada. Open to kids between the ages of seven and 17, these camps offer courses in computer programming, graphic design, robotics, digital movie making, and much more. Campers choose between day camp, overnight or week-long programs. The New Jersey camp is located on the grounds of Seton Hall University.

Storming Robots is a technology learning center offering summer programs as well as programs throughout the school year. Programs are held for ages eight to 18 at the Storming Robots facility in Branchburg. The organization also runs programs at schools and other locations. The focus here is on programming robots.

Computers + Kids is a summer computer camp for kids from seven to 15 years old. Each session is one week long. If you register for four weeks you get the fifth free. The camp is held at the Princeton Courtyard by Marriott. All aspects of computer instruction, including programming, are included.
