Lehi, Utah is approximately 29 miles south of Salt Lake City and has a rich history dating back to 1850 when it was initially settled. Lehi has several historic attractions including a historic railroad station, the John Hutchings Museum of Natural History as well as family attractions such as the Jordan River Parkway and several nearby water parks.
Cowabunga Bay Water Park is located approximately 13 miles north of Lehi and approximately 10 minutes south of Salt Lake City, in Draper, Utah. The water park features attractions such as the “Cowabunga Splash,” which is a six-story structure with tunnels, water features and net climbs. The park also has nine water slides, a pool and a lazy river. Cowabunga Bay requires guests to wear appropriate swim wear; adults must accompany children aged 3 and younger at all times. Cowabunga Bay offers birthday party packages and sells season passes each year; season passes are offered at a discounted price during pre-season sales. Park rules prohibit guests from bringing food or drink into the park and do not allow smoking inside the park.

Seven Peaks Water Park is located approximately 17 miles southeast of Lehi, in Provo, Utah. Seven Peaks is the biggest water park in the state. Attractions include a 500,000 gallon wave pool which has waves between 1 and 4 feet high, 16 water slides, free fall slides with 100-foot drops, a lazy river, children’s pools and slides, cabanas and group areas. Pregnant women and visitors with health problems should avoid riding the water slides. The park is open every day but Sunday throughout the season; park hours are 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Park rules prohibit guests from bringing certain items into the park including alcoholic beverages, food or drink, rafts/inner tubes, tobacco products, skateboards/roller skates, chewing gum or matches.

Grins and Fins Indoor Water Park is located approximately 28 miles north of Lehi, in West Valley City, Utah. Grins and Fins Indoor Water Park is nestled in the Holiday Inn Express and features a towering 165-foot water slide, a play area for children and three heated swimming pools. The water park also has a concession stand for snacks and beverages.
