The iD Tech Camp is geared toward teens 13 to 18 years old. The camp features three specific academies, or camps, that focus on hands-on technology education: iD Gaming Academy, iD Visual Arts Academy and the iD Programming Academy. The academies feature robotics, web design, film making and cinematography production, and computer animation and video game design. During the summer of 2010, iD Tech will host its coed camp on the campus of Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Camps are led by professional educators certified in tech education. Teens stay overnight for one to two weeks while getting a chance to experience dorm life. The camp aims to broaden teens' horizons. Camp sessions run from early June to mid-August.
