Blackbeard's Restaurant was named after the legendary pirate. According to local legend, the restaurant is haunted with jumping salt shakers, mysterious knocks and sightings of apparitions. The restaurant is housed in a building that is among the oldest in the area. Specialties on the menu include pirate stew made with sausage, shrimp and real fresh crab meat in a tortilla soup, and the chicken castaway made with a half-pound chicken breast grilled with fresh pineapple. South Beach Grill is a restaurant and bar that offers a casual atmosphere. It is housed in a one-story purple building with a huge windsurfer painted on the side, and video game machines can be found on the inside. South Beach Bar and Grill also features entertainment such as live acoustic music, foosball tables and televised sporting events. The restaurant serves traditional pub grub but brings the quality and flavor up a few notches. There are the usual burgers, wings and nachos, but there are also butterfly shrimp baskets, 12-ounce Angus steaks and grilled chicken breasts. The bar also has drink specials on everything from margaritas to domestic beers. Private events can be held at South Beach Grill, and parking is free.
