Plymouth, Minnesota is located west of the twin cities of St.Paul /Minneapolis.   1. Valleyfair Amusement Park

    • Valleyfair Amusement Park, along with its Challenge Park (an additional fee required), is open from May 15 to October 31 and is a 27 minute drive south of Plymouth. Challenge Park offers Adventure Golf, Go-Karts, and Rip Cord excitement. Built in 1976, Valleyfair covers 90 acres with over 75 thrilling rides and attractions. Valleyfair also offers water fun with Soak City Waterpark, which is in operation from May 24 to September 7. All activities, including rides for both children and adults, midway games, live entertainment, and attractions, are covered by purchasing a daily admission ticket or season pass. Two air-conditioned restaurants are located inside the park and over 40 snack shops and dessert venues offer everything from traditional fair foods to healthy-choice snacks and wraps. Both Valleyfair and Soak City have height and weight restrictions along with dress-code regulations. A daily vehicle parking fee of $10 is charged to all incoming vehicles.

    Grand Slam U.S.A.

    • Grand Slam U.S.A. is an indoor amusement park covering over 30,000 square feet and is located 25 miles south of Plymouth. Grand Slam U.S.A. offers rides, games, and sporting activities. A pirate theme creates an atmosphere of adventure and children are welcome to play on an indoor pirate ship. Arcade tokens are earned during game play and can be redeemed for prizes. Batting cages, mini-golf, Krazy Kars,and a two-level Laser Tag play area are all included for one admission price. A snack shop serves pizza and hot-dogs. Birthday parties (reservations required at least one week in advance) are also offered. Various birthday packages include playtime and pizza; some restrictions do apply.

    Pump It Up: The Inflatable Party Zone

    • Pump It Up is an indoor family entertainment arena 26 miles south of Plymouth that offers playtime with inflatable toys. Children may jump, slide, and bounce their way through various inflatable venues. Obstacle courses and bounce houses complete with slides provide hours of fun and entertainment. Pump It Up also offers birthday packages for children. There are three styles of parties to choose from, with jump time and party food combinations included. Customized cakes, ice cream, goodie bags, pizza, vegetable/fruit trays, balloon bouquets, paper products, and even invitations, along with setup and cleanup services, are available. Pump It Up recommends that birthday parties, family reunions, and other large group gatherings are prearranged by a least one week.
