The Air Tractor AT-802 is an aircraft produced by Air Tractor, a company that began with Leland Snow. Snow first designed airplanes in 1951 that would dust and spray crops. He built three different models of crop dusters and, in 1965 sold his company to Rockwell-Standard. Snow started designing and building the first AT model airplanes in 1972, and introduced his first turbine model in 1977. As of 2007, Air Tractor reports producing an extensive line of agricultural aircraft including the 800-gallon capacity airplanes: AT-802 two-seater, AT-802A single seat, AT-802F firefighter and AT-802U military.
