How to Transfer Frequent Flyer Miles for Double Points

The Hilton HHonors program allows guests to earn points through hotel stays and airline miles for flights with more than 50 airlines partnered with the Hilton. When you have earned a certain amount of points, you are eligible for rewards such as free vacations. You can also transfer your miles to points and vice versa if you are just shy of a free flight or free vacation. The HHonors programs has an exchange rate of double points for the miles you transfer for certain airlines. For example, 5,000 miles will transfer to 10,000 HHonors Points, allowing members to earn rewards faster.

      Go to the HHonors website by doing a search of "Hilton Honors" in a search engine. On the website, Click on "Points" in the menu bar at the top of the page.

      On the Hilton HHonors Points & Miles page, select "Exchange Points or Miles." In the drop-down menu that comes up select "Miles for Points."

      Using the provided list of partnered airlines and their contact information. Contact your airline's frequent flier miles program to let them know you would like to transfer your airline miles to HHonors points. Have your frequent flier account information and your HHonors information ready so your request can be processed quickly.

      Check your HHonors account. When everything has been processed, the double points will show up in your account page for HHonors, unless you transferred points for Virgin Atlantic, in which case the points are not doubled, and you get 5,000 points for 5,000 miles.
