Mid-May through Mid-August or any other time that the temperature is above 75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit or below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, pets must be checked as cargo, rather than as baggage due to extreme weather conditions.
Children under the age of two years old do not need a ticket if they are on a U.S. domestic flight and they sit on the lap of another passenger that is at least 18 years old or the legal guardian. There is a limit of two infants per adult passenger.
Only children ages five and older may travel without a legal guardian or other adult who is over age 18. Children ages five, six and seven may only travel alone on non-stop flights. All children who are under 15 years old who are traveling alone must have unaccompanied service. This service is optional for children ages 15, 16 and 17.
