How to Make Flight Reservations at McCarran International Airport

McCarran International Airport is the main airport serving the Las Vegas area and Southern Nevada. The airport began in its current location as McCarran Field in 1945 and it services over 40 million passengers per year. Twenty-nine airlines fly into McCarran to visit the sites of Las Vegas and the Nevada desert beyond. The airport is located less than 2 miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip and is easily accessible by minibus, car or taxi. Making flight reservations at McCarran International is easy to do in person or through your preferred airline.

      Arrive at McCarran International Airport and enter the Main Terminal building also referred to as Terminal 1. If you are flying: Airtran, Alaska, American, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Great Lakes, Horizon Air, Jet Blue, Spirit, Sun Country or Virgin America, walk to the Airlines North Ticketing counter on the left side of the terminal building main hall.

      Locate the Airlines South Ticketing counter on the right end of the Terminal 1 main hall if you are flying Allegiant, Southwest, United, US Airways or West Jet airlines.

      Call your preferred airline reservations number listed on the McCarran International Airport website and book your flight by telephone. Tell the customer service representative that McCarran International Airport is your departure gateway and your rep will be able to assist you in reserving your flight. You may also call your travel agent's customer service number to reserve your flight from McCarran International.

      Visit your preferred airline online. Reserve your flight through the online ticket purchasing function or through an online travel agent like Expedia or CheapoAir. Select McCarran International Airport (Airport code LAS) as your departure gateway. Bring your tickets or confirmation number to McCarran International Airport and enjoy your flight.
