Requirements for metro bus driver Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority?

* At least 21 years of age

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record

* Able to speak, read, and write English fluently

* Pass a drug and alcohol test

* Able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds

* Ability to work extended hours, including holidays and weekends

Experience Requirements

* At least one year of experience operating a commercial vehicle

*Training Requirement*

* Complete a Metro-approved bus driver training program

Additional Qualifications

* Bilingual skills are a plus

* Customer service experience is a plus

* Experience working with the public is a plus
