Norwegian Sun Room Descriptions

The Norwegian Sun is one of the Norwegian Cruise Line ships. NCL is known for its "Freestyle Cruising" that offers passenger's flexibility and freedom in their cruise selections. The Norwegian Sun has itineraries going to Alaska, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, the Mexican Rivera, Bahamas/Florida area and the Panama Canal throughout the year. These cruises range from four days in length and go up to 33 days. The rooms offered on the Norwegian Sun vary in size and features. There are 10 types of rooms available.
  1. Owner's Suite and Romance Suite

    • These are the biggest and the best rooms offered on the Norwegian Sun and sleep up to three people. Both of these have floor-to-ceiling windows, a bedroom with luxury bath (tub and separate shower), walk-in closets and have concierge and butler services offered. The Owner's Suite includes a living and dining room area with table along with a secluded balcony with hot tub, dining and deck furniture. The Romance Suite does not have a balcony hot tub and is smaller. The room size is 570 square feet with a 258 square foot balcony for the Owner's Suite and 355 square feet with a 149 square foot balcony for the Romance Suite. All of the rooms also have media centers, mini-refrigerators, mini safes, telephones and hair dryers.

    Penthouse and Mini-Suite

    • These rooms on the Norwegian Sun sleep up to three people include floor-to-ceiling windows, a secluded balcony with deck furniture, a walk-in closet and a sitting area. The Penthouse has one room plan with a whirlpool tub and shower in the luxury bath and one with a bath and shower. The Mini-Suite has luxury bath and shower. The room size is 363 (or 355) square feet with a 149 (or 119) square foot balcony for the Penthouse room and 274 square feet with a 48 square foot balcony for the Mini-Suite. All of the rooms also have media centers, mini-refrigerators, mini safes, telephones, hair dryers and concierge services offered. The Penthouse offers butler services also.

    Balcony Stateroom and Superior Oceanview Stateroom

    • The Norwegian Sun has a number of these rooms that sleep up to two or three passengers. Each Balcony Stateroom has floor-to-ceiling windows, a secluded balcony with deck furniture, a big sitting area and a private bath and shower. The Superior Oceanview Stateroom has a big picture window in place of the balcony. The room size is 173 square feet with a 48 square foot balcony for the Balcony Stateroom and 170 square feet for the Superior Oceanview Stateroom. All of the rooms also have a television set, mini-refrigerators, mini safes, telephones and hair dryers.

    Oceanview Stateroom and Superior Inside Stateroom

    • The Oceanview Stateroom available on the Norwegian Sun sleeps up to two passengers and the Superior Stateroom sleeps up to three. The Norwegian Sun has several locations of the Oceanview Stateroom and each has a large porthole. All of these rooms have a sitting area, private bath and shower, a television set, mini-refrigerators, mini safes, telephones and hair dryers. The room size is 145 square feet for the Oceanview Stateroom and 191 square feet for the Superior Inside Stateroom.

    Deluxe Inside Stateroom and Inside Stateroom

    • The Norwegian Sun offers a few Deluxe Inside Staterooms and a large variety of Inside Staterooms that sleep up to two or three passengers. These rooms do not have any windows, but do have a sitting area (the Deluxe rooms have bigger sitting areas), private bath and shower, a television set, mini-refrigerators, mini safes, telephones and hair dryers. The room size is 172 square feet for the Deluxe Inside Stateroom and 118 (or 147) square feet for the Inside Stateroom.
