How to Remove the Arm From an American RV Chair

American RV deals with many brands of recreational vehicles. In many of these models are captain's chairs and chairs with armrests. These armrests work on a pivot allowing the arm rest to go up or down, depending on your needs. Should your needs necessitate the removal of these armrests, use a simple basic principle of taking off these arms. While different RV brands use different fixtures, the basic method remains the same.

Unzip or tear apart the Velcro on the upholstery of the arm rest of the chair. Push the foam to the side and locate the bolt attaching the arm to the chair.
