Park the RV and turn off the water. If connected to an outside water source, disconnect the water hoses and connections. Put on the gloves, goggles and mask. Consult your RV guide to locate the black water tank holding area.
Disconnect the drainage hose from the back of the toilet. Open the water tank holding compartment, typically found in the back left side of the exterior on the RV. Find the drainage hose leading to the toilet. This will be at the back of the compartment.
Slide a hose clamp onto the hose. Screw the drainage hose onto the black water tank's nozzle. Tighten the hose clamp around the nozzle neck of the tank. Check the seal to make sure it is tight and then add waterproof caulking to the seal. Let the caulk dry.
Secure the tank in the compartment via the RVs attachment points. Go to the toilet and check the drainage hose connection. Turn on the water to the RV. Let the toilet fill with water and flush it two to three times. Go to the black water tank to check the nozzle seal and ensure that the toilet water reached the tank.
Close the compartment to the tanks.
