Chart out the size of your room. The size of the room can depend on a lot of factors, such as the height of your trailer and how much area you will typically have to set up your room. A good place to start is with a room that is 10 feet by 10 feet.
Slice up ¾-inch-diameter PVC into 5-foot lengths. These will be the framing supports for the tent. By making them only half of the total dimensions necessary, the tent will be able to be collapsed and stored with ease.
Construct a 10-by-10-foot cube, using PVC fittings. Use eight corner pieces as well as 12 joiners to attach the 24 5-foot lengths of PVC. Create 12 10-foot lengths and then create the cube. The structure should be sturdy if all lengths were measured accurately.
Cut four pieces of screen and a piece of tarp all10-by-10feet. Clamp them into position on the frame. The screens are the four walls, and the tarp is for the ceiling. Make sure that all the pieces fit together correctly and have enough room for stitching.
Stitch the panels together. While the panels are still on the frame, pin them to each other; then remove the tent from the frame. Using a sewing machine, stitch the screen panels together and to the tarp. Be sure to stitch the entire length of the screens using triple stitching. This will prolong the life of the tent.
Hang the tent back on the frame. Plan where you want doors to be placed and mark the outlines with a magic marker. Cut pieces of tarp into the correct size for the doors and sew them onto the tent. Leave on side of the tarp without any stitching to create a flap. The tent is now complete and can be assembled quickly and packed away for storage.
