How to Fix Dry Rot in a Camper
Dry rot is a misnomer that is actually caused by a fungi that carries water into the wood it infests. The fungi can actually move the water far enough away from the source that the wood will feel dry. It will make the wood decompose and lose its strength. Dry rot can be caused by any type of leak, but is usually caused by a leaking roof or window. To fix dry rot, it is most important to attend to the leak first.
