Park your RV in a location where you can easily access the leaky RV window.
Climb a ladder to reach the window. Find a comfortable position, because you'll work on the window for about an hour once you start the project.
Cut the seal that runs between your RV window and the exterior window frame. Using a razor blade, make a cut that allows you to slide your finger down behind the seal.
Grab hold of the window seal and pull it off. If it breaks as you pull, grab another section and try to pull it off as well. You may not be able to pull every section of the seal away, but on a leaky RV window, you should be able to pull off a majority of the seal without much effort.
Scrape the window frame with your razor blade to remove any additional seal.
Dampen a paper towel with acetone and use that towel to wipe down the window frame. Acetone will help remove any sticky residue left by the seal, plus it helps wipe away any dirt or other debris on the window frame.
Allow the window frame to dry completely before you proceed.
Point your caulk gun to the same location where the old seal was: between the window frame and the glass. Apply a new layer of sealant, making sure you apply it evenly so there's no possibility of air bubbles.
