Empty the storage bin of all contents. Search the bin for any water marks or streaks that indicate the area of the leak. Pour a little water from the sprinkler onto the roof of the storage bin to look for the tell-tale drips from a broken seal. Mark the leak area. Place the bucket under the leak to catch the drips from the sprinkler test.
Point the hair dryer at the leak to dry the area completely. If the leak is small and thin, apply a generous coating of the clear adhesive glue along the entire crack and let it dry. Pour water on the roof to test the crack's new seal. Specialized tape to seal small leaks is available at RV stores. If you do not wish to use the glue, use a strip of leak-proofing tape.
Apply a generous coat of silicone caulking to the offending area if the leak is wide or larger than a slight crack. Let the caulk dry completely. Pour water onto the roof to test the seal.
