Passenger Train Routes in Alabama

As of March, 2010, three Alabama cities are served by Amtrak: Birmingham, Anniston and Tuscaloosa. The cities are served by Amtrak's Crescent route. Rail service may be expanded in the future, as the state recently received federal stimulus money to determine if passenger train travel throughout the state is feasible.
