How to Get to Bocas Del Toro

Lazily sitting off Panama's Northeast coast is Bocas Del Toro, or The Mouth of the Bull. This archipelago consists of Colon, Bastimentos, Solarte, Popa and other smaller islands. The Caribbean islands are a far-off place that is easily reached. Because of its proximity to the Costa Rica border, you can get to Bocas Del Toro via San Jose or Panama City. On the final leg of the journey to Bocas Del Toro, a taxi speedboat will whip you through mangrove-lined canals, past locals harvesting the waters and out into the Caribbean.
