Oregon Child Front‑Seat Law: Age, Height, Weight Requirements

Children under 13 must ride in the back seat unless:

• The vehicle has only two seating positions, or
• The child is taller than 4 ft 9 in and weighs more than 80 lb.

Children under 2 must always use a child safety seat.
