This park features just over 30 RV sites with full hookups and 48 additional sites with water and electricity. All sites have 20-/30-/50-amp power. Park amenities include bathrooms, showers, two on-site fishing ponds, a supply store, a laundromat, a large picnic area, a playground and fire pits. Pets are welcome. The Blue Ridge Parkway is five miles away.

River Views Campground is located 18 miles southwest of Hillsville on Highway 58 in Galax, Virginia. Guests can go boating on the adjacent New River and visit the nearby New River Trail State Park. This park has RV and tent sites with full hookups and 30-/50-amp power. Park amenities include wireless Internet access, bathrooms, showers, a laundromat, a boat ramp, a dump station and a clubhouse. Cabins are also available for rent. Pets are welcome in tents and RVs only.
