Moose Jaw, SK Campgrounds

Moose Jaw is located in south-central Saskatchewan, Canada between the towns of Regina and Swift Current. Area attractions include mineral spas, sporting and cultural events as well as outdoor activities such as hiking along the Trans-Canada Trail, horseback riding, cycling, fishing, boating and swimming. Numerous campgrounds in the area cater to both short or long-term campers.
  1. Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex

    • The Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex is conveniently located one mile east of Highway 2, approximately three miles from downtown Moose Jaw. In addition to a campground, the complex features a hotel, store, mobile homes, gas station, restaurant, waterslide and mini golf. The campground features 75 pull-through RV sites with full hook-ups (choice of 20 or 30 amp electric), 25 sites with water and electric only and an unlimited tenting area. There are flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station on-site. Campers receive discounts at other complex attractions including the waterslide. Weekly rates are available.

    Buffalo Pound Provincial Park

    • Buffalo Pound Provincial Park is located approximately 20 miles from Moose Jaw. The park has opportunities for fishing and swimming on Buffalo Pound Lake, hiking on the Trans Canada Trail, picnicking, and viewing nature, including the resident herd of bison that are cared for by the park. There are five campgrounds within the park with a total of 178 sites for both tents and RVs; 102 have electric hook-ups, 76 have no hook-ups and three are group sites. Amenities include hot showers, laundry facilities, playgrounds, drinking water, pool and firewood for purchase. There is a maximum stay of 14 consecutive nights at Buffalo Pound Park during peak season, June 24 through Aug. 15.

    River Park Campground

    • River Park Campground has a variety of campsites suitable for tents or RVs including six pull-through with a 40 foot limit, 46 with water and electric and eight with sewer hook-ups. Electric hook-ups are 30 or 50 amp and a dump station is available. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed and cleaned up after. There are no telephone hook-ups, but a pay phone is available. Camping is available April through October.
