Reynoldsburg, Ohio Area RV Campgrounds

Reynoldsburg, Ohio, is a very small town that hosts the state's only Tomato Festival. Reynoldsburg is a half hour drive to Columbus, where visitors can enjoy the zoo or see one of several sports events hosted by the city. Reynoldsburg is also near Alum Creek State Park, which provides fishing, hiking, and sightseeing. Antiques collectors can take day trips to Amish country, and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the Ohio countryside.     • Tree Haven Campground is 16 miles north of Reynoldsburg in Westerville, Ohio. It is 20 minutes northwest of Columbus, where guests can enjoy Buckeye games, visit the state fair, or the state zoo. The camp opens every year on May 1st, but takes reservations over e-mail throughout the year. The camp is set in the woods, off all major roads, to provide visitors with an authentic camping experience. Each site has 30 or 50-amp electrical service, and gray water hook-ups (used water). The sites do not have sewer hook ups, but there is a dump site in the camp that is free for guest use. If you are staying long-term, you must pay $8 a week for the dump site. Each site also has a fire pit and a picnic table. The camp sells firewood, and guests are not allowed to bring their own. There is a pool and a guest house, and free Wi-Fi throughout the park.

    Cross Creek Camping Resort

    • Cross Creek Camping Resort is 20 miles north of Reynoldsburg in Alum State Park. The park has 200 sites, 140 of which have full hook-ups. The sites also have concrete patios, and some are pull-throughs. Each site can accommodate a big rig. Guests can request Internet hook-ups, also. Long term guests can request private telephone service and cable television. The park has restrooms and a convenience store with camping supplies. For guest recreation, there is a pool, game room, horse shoes, and several sports courts. Nature lovers can enjoy one of the many hiking trails in the park, or go fishing. There are themed weekends during the year, including a 1950's party, and a Mardi Gras party. The park is open year-round. The sites with full hook-ups require a three-night minimum reservation during the summer.

    Buckeye Lake KOA

    • The Buckeye Lake KOA is 20 miles east of Reynoldsburg in Buckeye Lake, Ohio. The camp is right off I-70 in an area with 40 acres of both woods and large open fields. It is close to Columbus, and guests can take day trips to the zoo or to explore Ohio's Amish communities. The sites include pull-throughs for big rigs, and in 2008 the camp installed deluxe RV sites with patio furniture, a swing, and a grill. The deluxe sites also have wireless Internet access and cable television hook-ups. There are three shower houses in the camp. Guests with dogs can enjoy the "bark park," an enclosed pet area with agility exercise equipment. For entertainment the park provides mini-golf, a playground, and shuffleboard courts. Guests can also rent bicycles or play in the game room. There is also a swimming pool and a basketball court. The camp has planned activities for adults and children each weekend.
