A Mountain Top RV Park is a bit different from many RV parks in that in caters only to seniors. The property offers ten sites with 30- or 50-amp service, laundry facilities, and full sewer, water, and electrical hook-ups. Visitors staying at the campground are very close to a grocery store as well as Lake Travis golfing, and the Lakeline Mall in Austin is available for shopping and dining.

The Leander/NW Austin KOA campground is located right on the border of the Texas Hill Country and is open year-round. The campground offers 30 back-in sites that are 50 feet long and 25 pull-through campsites for rigs up to 100 feet. All sites have 20-, 30-, or 50-amp service available and come with wireless Internet. Amenities include restrooms, a swimming pool, an outdoor whirlpool spa, a camp store, a playground, a bathhouse, a guest laundry, and a clubhouse with a kitchen. Special activities take place on the weekend as well, including potlucks and bonfires.

Idyll Glen RV Park is located very close to Lake Travis and Balcones Canyonland National Wildlife Refuge. The park offers 37 sites, four of which are pull-throughs, with 20-, 30-, and 50-amp electricity service. Amenities include cable television and telephone hook-ups, wireless Internet, a recreation hall made of adobe with a kitchen, a laundry and shower facilities. This campground is open year-round.
