Welcome Woods Campground offers RV and tent camping on 75 campsites. Fifty sites are equipped with water and electrical service, and the remaining 25 are primitive. Cabin rentals are also available. Welcome Woods is located on a small lake, which offers swimming, boating and fishing opportunities. Amenities at the campground include bathrooms and showers, a playground, ball field, basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a game room, hiking trails, a camp store and pavilion. Welcome Woods is open from April 1 through October 15.

The 26-acre Whispering Waters Campground has rustic and modern campsites along the Thornapple River. Campsites include primitive, sites with water and electric or electric only and sites with full hookups for RVs. Amenities at Whispering Waters include restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a dump station, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoe pits and shuffleboard. One of the main attraction at the campground is the canoe livery. Whispering Waters facilitates canoe, kayak and tubing trips down the Thornapple River. The livery provides the transportation and equipment. Pets are allowed at the campground, and there are special dog walking areas on the grounds.

The Barry Expo Center is home to events like the Barry County Fair, drag races, antique shows, horse shows and receptions. A 260-site campground surrounds the expo center. Sites have water and electrical hookups. The campground allows RVs, tents and camper trailers. Amenities at the expo center include restrooms. Reservations must be made ahead of time for special events, and an application form is downloadable from the Barry Expo Center Web site. Pets that are not part of fair exhibitions or special events are not allowed on the campground. Campers are not permitted to have campfires or ride bikes in the campground.
