Beavers Bend State Park is located in the southeast corner of Oklahoma near the Texas and Arkansas border. The state park offers 47 camping cabins that have kitchen facilities, bathrooms, showers and central heat and air. Beavers Bend State Park is located on Broken Bow Lake and the Mountain Fork River for boating, fishing and swimming activities for campers. The park also features hiking, mountain biking and equestrian trails, a miniature golf course and an 18-hole golf course. Beavers Bend State Park also has a full-service restaurant and a nature center.

Located just below the Kansas state line in Jet, Great Salt Plains State Park features camping cabins with kitchens, baths, showers and central heat and air. The park is situated on Great Salt Plains Lake, which covers almost 9,000 acres. The lake is shallow and is not designed to accommodate boats, but fishing from the banks for catfish, bass and striper is popular. Great Salt Plains State Park is next to the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge features hiking trails and an area where visitors can dig for selenite crystals.

Roman Nose State Park is located about 50 miles northwest of Oklahoma City in Watonga. The park, which is named for a Native American tribal chief, has cabins with kitchens, bath, showers and central heat and air. Roman Nose State Park includes attractions like an 18-hole golf course, two lakes for boating, fishing and swimming and hiking, mountain biking and equestrian trails. For guests at the park who do not have their own equipment, Roman Nose State Park rents bicycles, horses and boats like canoes, kayaks and paddle boats. The park also features an outdoor swimming pool that is open during the summer months.
