Georgetown, Connecticut, is located at the meeting point of three towns: Redding, Weston and Wilton. The Georgetown Saloon is a regular watering hole for locals and visitors alike. There are special events occurring on a regular basis here, such as brunch on Sundays and "happy hour" on Mondays. Live music is also standard fare, with certain days set aside for jazz nights and open jams. On Fridays and Saturdays, live bands grace the stage. The menu has a number of appetizers that include steamed mussels, New Orleans-style shrimp, tater skins, calamari round up, fresh guacamole bowls and a number of soups and salads. Sandwiches are also available, as well as burgers and quesadillas. Entrees include cowboy steak, pan-seared organic chicken breast, asparagus risotto and penne a la vodka.
