One of Jamaica's biggest attractions is its innumerable beaches. In Kingston, beaches are probably not the most popular attraction, but there are some distinct beach areas tourists should visit. One is the James Bond Beach. Named after the famous lead character in the movie "Dr. No," which was filmed here, the James Bond Beach draws people simply because of its name. Nearby restaurants serve delicious, traditional Jamaican cuisine. Lime Cay is another exceptional beach area, located just off the coast of Kingston. The only way to travel there is by boat since it is on a smaller, isolated island. Lime Cay is well known for its underwater caves, so bring along your snorkeling gear to interact with the local marine life. You can access both beaches by either jet ski or boat from Kingston Harbour.

The Boon Hall Oasis is a fun tour for families and children, visiting a local wildlife sanctuary and petting zoo. You'll also take a tractor ride through this four-acre park's mango and vegetable orchards. The Guardsman Group, a security company in Kingston, opened the sanctuary. Once you're finished with the riding and walking tour, and have visited everything of interest to you, stop by the on-site restaurant which serves local favorites like jerk or barbecue chicken, curried goat, oxtail or fish. Try your hand at fishing on-site for red tilapia by the waterfall. The restaurant will clean whatever fish you catch for a nominal fee.
