The Center for Science and Industry is open seven days a week, with the exception of national holidays. Its educational displays allow kids of all ages to learn about the natural and technological world around them in ways that pique their interest.

Magic Mountain Fun Center has two sites in the Columbus area, both offering fun activities for kids of all ages.
Kids can take a few swings in the batting cages or enjoy playing a round of miniature golf against their friends. The sites also have arcades and fairground attractions like bumper cars or boats. If your child is a future NASCAR champion, he will love taking a few laps around the center's go-cart tracks.

A visit to the Columbus Zoo can be an adventure for kids of all ages. The zoo is just 17 miles from downtown Columbus and is home to a multitude of animals from all over the globe, including lions, elephants, grizzly bears, orangutans and manatee.
The park also has a small area with rides such as a log flume, tea cups and a swing ship.

Fort Rapids is home to a 60,000-square-foot indoor water park that is fun for the whole family. The water park is part of a larger resort that offers accommodations and two restaurants. When visiting Columbus, Fort Rapids may be the place to stay, but you do not have to be a guest at the resort to use the water park.
