Weight Restrictions on Disney Rides

In an effort to ensure the safety of guests visiting the theme parks, Walt Disney World has posted some ride restrictions. These restrictions also include health and safety advisories to help guests make the decision to ride or not.
  1. Restrictions

    • Many of the rides at the theme parks at Walt Disney World have restrictions regarding height and other medical warnings. Though there are no specific posted weight limits for the attractions, some of the rides may be uncomfortable for those who are over the medical weight standards for their age and height.

    Possibly Uncomfortable

    • Many of the rides at Disney does offer seating that will comfortably fit guests of all sizes, but there are some that do have smaller seats and restraints which may make it uncomfortable for some larger guests. Some of these attractions include the Indy Speedway, Space Mountain, Dumbo, Star Tours, Mission Space, Test Track and Dinosaur.

    Segway Tours

    • Though not an official ride at Disney, the Segway Tour, offered at select theme parks and resorts, does have a weight limit to participate. Guests wishing to enjoy one of the Segway Tours are limited to weighing no more than 250 pounds.
