Captain Mike's Dolphin Tours is the most popular of the Dolphin Tours on Tybee Island. The tours each run approximately one to 1-1/2 hours, and cost under $20 (2010), with children's admission less expensive. While you are not allowed to feed the dolphins, you can watch them closely as they will likely come up to the boat. The tour departs from Lazaretto Creek Marina and heads toward the Atlantic Ocean. The tour will pass the historic fishing village, the Cockspur and Tybee lighthouse, and Fort Pulaski. Besides dolphins, you will likely see other wildlife, such as sea turtles and rare birds. There are three boats, and they depart throughout the day.

The Sweet Lowland Tybee Tours is the most unfamiliar of the Tybee dolphin tours. A single captain pilots a single vessel. However, because of the simplicity of his operation, he is able to take you to places other dolphin tours won't allow, such as the intercoastal waterway, the ocean, sounds, rivers and small creeks. Captain Harvey has been boating the area for more than 55 years. The tours range from two to six hours, and each is a distinctive experience.
