Wanderlust World Wanderlust World River's End Campground is run by the city of Tybee Island. The campground is open year-round and offers reduced rates in winter. Full hookup RV sites--as well as sites with only water and electricity--are available. Nightly, weekly and monthly rates are offered. Guests have access to a swimming pool, bath house, cable TV, wireless Internet access, dump station, laundry facility, game room and book exchange.

Red Gate Campground & RV Resort is 30 minutes from Tybee Island in Savannah. On 200 acres, the campground can accommodate large motor homes on sites with water, sewer and electrical hookups. Private wooded sites are available on request. Property amenities include picnic tables, fire pits, a clubhouse, fitness center, dump stations, a screened pavilion, laundry facilities, a swimming pool, basketball court, bathrooms and wireless Internet access.

Skidaway Island State Park is a 25-mile drive from Tybee Island. The park has 87 campsites for motor homes up to 50 feet in length. Water, electrical and cable TV hookups are offered at each site, as well as a fire ring, grill and picnic table. The park is on 588 acres. Campers can attend planned activities such as ranger-led programs. Geocaching, hiking, biking, birding and swimming are available on site as well.
