Many people visit Big Bend National Park in southwest Texas because it has river, mountain and desert environments together in one park.     • Big Bend National Park has five complete canyon systems, and visitors choose to explore them with rafting or canoe tours.     Ranger Tours

    • Visitors enjoy learning about the park from an official ranger, and different types of ranger tours are available. Park-managed, scheduled free walks and programs vary on a weekly basis. Personal guided ranger tours for a fee are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
