For the more adventurous traveler, jeep and ATV tours are available. Some trips explore public and private land, and guides usually explain the history, flora and fauna during the tour. There are options to drive these vehicles in a "pack" tour, or to ride in a guide-driven jeep. Trips range usually range from a half day to a full day.

Visitors enjoy learning about the park from an official ranger, and different types of ranger tours are available. Park-managed, scheduled free walks and programs vary on a weekly basis. Personal guided ranger tours for a fee are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
