Handled by the United States Postal Service, mail can be forwarded from a previous address to a new one for up to one year. There are also options for people temporarily leaving the area.

  1. Permanent Move

      Visit the Orange Beach Post Office located at 25778 John M. Snook Drive. The post office is open on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

      Obtain the postal service's change of address form, PS Form 3575, from an Orange Beach post office employee.

      Fill out the form as noted. You'll need your current address and new address information, in addition to the mail forwarding start date, to complete it as required. Hand the form in to the front desk when it is complete.

    Temporary Move

      Visit the Orange Beach Post Office.

      Request the official change of address form. This is the same form filled out for permanent moves.

      Fill out the form as required, listing your new and old addresses.

      Check "Yes" to the question, "Is this a temporary move?"

      Fill in the start date and end date of your mail forwarding request.
