Visit aaa.com (see resource) to create a AAA online account. AAA made significant changes to the website in February of 2010, so if you had an account prior to this time, you need to create a new account. Click "Create Account" to make a new account.
Fill in your AAA membership number in the blank field of the next screen. Enter the first and last name of the account holder as it appears on the membership card. Enter the ZIP code in the next field.
Click "Continue." Enter an email address and password into the appropriate blank fields. Answer two security questions. Click "Continue."
Check your email for an account code. Click the code in the email to activate your account. Log in to your account using the email address you provided and the password.
Click the "Membership" tab at the top of the page and then click "Renew Your Membership" from the left sidebar.
Fill in the appropriate billing information into the next page, getting necessary information from your bill. Enter a credit card number to pay the bill with your credit card.
